Festivals and live music

Drøbak is also a vibrant music destination. In the summer there are three major festivals: Drøbakfestivalen, Drøbak Havnefestival and Gitarer ved fjorden. At Oscarsborg, the famous Oscarsborg Opera is a highlight. 

There is also often live music, either at Café Sjøstjernen, in the charming backyard of Café Drøbak, outside Bytinget, at Miramar or at Handelshuset Gastrobar. Smia, cultural center also offers regular concerts, theater and other events. Follo museum also has cultural events.

Summer concerts

If you visit Drøbak on a Saturday 12.00 in the summer, you can experience world-class classical concerts in the historic Drøbak church. It is hand-picked, top class musicians who visit this summer's concert series with a varied program filled with classical gems, contemporary music and jazz.
