Museums in Drøbak and at Oscarsborg

Frogn has several exciting museums, both on Seiersten, in Drøbak and at Oscarsborg.

Oscarsborg Fortress Museum consists of five museums, the two best known of which are the Fortress Museum and the Torpedo Battery.

Guided tours can be booked all year round, while open group tours are offered every day during the summer holidays.

There are also historical fortifications in Drøbak, which were part of the defences in the Oslofjord. Today, both Seiersten skanse, Veisvingbatteriet and Kopåsbatteriet are historical cultural monuments worth a visit.

Follo Museum is another exciting museum. The idyllic open-air museum at Seiersten is surrounded by nature on all sides, but also offers various events and experiences, as well as a museum mystery and guided tours on request.

The Norwegian Lutefisk Museum is the world’s only one of its kind and shares a building with Drøbak Båtforening’s maritime collections. Both are located in the cosy street Kroketønna.
