The Timber Floating Museum offers fascinating history through exhibitions both outdoors and indoors. The timber floating facility is a nationally protected technical and industrial heritage site. Around the site, you will also see workboats that are still in daily operation.

At the pier, you’ll find a café serving coffee, waffles, and refreshments. On summer evenings, traditional pike fish cakes are served along with the museum’s own log-driving beer.

Elsewhere on the grounds, you’ll find a museum shop, a forge, workshops, a playground, and a dedicated visitor center with information about the nature of Northern Europe’s largest inland river delta.

The water-based facility is authentic, featuring 2.5 km of timber walkways where you can stroll and truly experience nature and cultural heritage up close.
