Art City Drøbak
According to the famous painter Edvard Diriks (1855-1930), cousin of the even more famous Edvard Munch, there are only two cities in the world actually worth living in, Drobak and Paris.
Drobak has attracted some of Norways finest and reknowned artists for more than two centuries and still does. The crooked narrow streets with the old wooden houses, the beautiful seafront views, the mild climate and the fact that Drobak is close to Oslo make a fine art combination. A stroll around Drøbak would take you from one art gallery to the next showcasing a variety of expressions from classical to contemporary art.
