What is the best thing about living in Drøbak?
The best thing about living here is the people and the slightly rural feel. There's not much that beats the summer town of Drøbak. I love big cities, but living in Drøbak is just perfect. The short distance to Oslo is also nice, but it's great not to live too far from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Which places and attractions in Drøbak and Frogn are well-suited for wheelchair users?
Bølgen Bath and Activity Center, Reenskaug Hotel, Drøbak Aquarium, and the AMFi Drøbak City shopping center are probably the places that are almost 100% wheelchair accessible. But I manage pretty well everywhere in Drøbak. The Bath Park has also improved a lot in recent years. However, in winter, there can be days when especially Drøbak center is not well shoveled.
How is Oscarsborg Fortress adapted for accessibility?
The ferry ride to the island is excellent, as is boarding and disembarking. In the summer, there are many trails to walk on, which is also positive. I was also there every summer when the Drøbak Acoustic Festival was held there, and it worked very well.

Are there any accessible restaurants you would recommend?
The restaurant at Reenskaug Hotel, "The Lobby," is probably the best adapted of all, and they have many exciting dishes that should be tried.
I also recommend Kumlegaarden, which has delicious food and generous portions. They have a step at the entrance that I can manage, but they also put out a ramp if you need it.
Miramar also has very good food, and it's easy to get in, but the restroom is quite awkward. Cafe Sjøstjernen is also well adapted. One of my favorites in Drøbak is Galleri Cafe Teskje. Although the space is a bit tight in some places, it's something that must be experienced.
The pizza place at Handelshuset is also very good, but the entrance can be challenging for many.
What does a perfect Sunday in Drøbak look like for you?
In the summer, it's all about Badeparken and the lively atmosphere in the center—simply magical. Visiting the garden at Galleri Cafe Teskje and enjoying some delicious food prepared by Benjamin is a must. Dinner on the outdoor terrace at Miramar is also recommended, and you should try the Pizza Mix with beef—better pizza than you can find in Italy.
What can attractions in Frogn do to become more accessible?
Many shops and eateries should focus on making their entrances easier for wheelchair users. Simple, permanent ramps that don't require asking for help would be ideal. I believe Torgata, from the intersection to Drøbak square, should be a pedestrian street, allowing the businesses there to create better entrances for wheelchair users.
