Take a walk in the sculpture park next to Henie Onstad Art Center
West of Oslo at Høvikodden in Bærum you will find the sculpture park outside Henie Onstad Art Center The park has about twenty sculptures in scenic surroundings along the coastal path and there is also a beach near by. Decriptive maps of the art can be found at the entrance to the Art Center. A small hidden gem is Galleri Würth at Gjelleråsen. With free admission, you will see world class contemporary art from one of the biggest private collections.
At Sjøholmen in Bærum, we find Jason Taylor's underwater sculpture project aimed to create new artificial reefs using large underwater sculpture parks. Two sculptures can be seen on the jetty while the rest are under water. If you are not a freediver, take a closer look at the posters in the park next to the Sjøholmen house.

At Fornebu, the business community has invested in both architecture and high end art. Among other art works you can see "Imprints" by Magne Furuholmen outside Aker. Nansenparken is a nice recreation area nearby. Grab a coffee or a snack to go and enjoy the beautiful waterways and lush surroundings.

Charming Bærums Verk has a sculpture park with almost 30 art works created by the country's leading sculptors. At Bærums Verk you will find several cozy shops, cafes and restaurants.

In Hvitsten, Fred Olsen Lines shows 37 figure heads made by famous Norwegian artists, which decorated the company's ships in the period between 1938-1976. Are you able to find all 37? The area is also the home to famous Norwegian artists such as Kristian Krogh, Th. Kittelsen and Edvard Munch. The newly opened Ramme is only a short walk away. Stop by to dine or join a guided art tour in the stunning Havlysparken.

Street Art Safari
You will be amazed by how much amazing street art there is in the region. The artist Martin Whatson has created several works of art throughout the Oslo region. Take the train from Oslo Central Station to Asker or Jessheim and have a look at some of his works.
Sandvika also offers a lot of cool street art including the newest installation to honor Claude Monet who visited Sandvika 125 yesars ago. By the river walk in Lillestrøm you will find exciting open air art, including The Hammering Man On your way to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen you should stop and admire the Kepler star by Vebjørn Sand.

The museum garden at Asker museum is open to everyone 24/7. Take a walk and look at the fairy sculptures and the dinosaur carved in wood.
