Drøbak is a real summer town in the summer, and a Christmas town in the winter.
With the old wooden houses in Drøbak, Oscarsborg Fortress and Santa's post office which you will find at Tregårdens Julehus, the city attracts many visitors from all around the world.
Here you will also find the Oslo Fjord's only saltwater aquarium - Drøbak Akvarium.
Drøbak is the place in Follo where you can shop in nice galleries and shops close to the fjord, or maybe play golf. Of museums, Frogn can i.a. offer the regional museum Follo Museum, Avistegnernes hus, Drøbak boat association's maritime collections and a separate, small "Lutefisk" museum.
At Badeparken is Drøbak church, called Our Savior's Church, which was consecrated on October 29, 1776. In Badeparken you will find Blücher's one anchor and the bust of Colonel Eriksen who gave the order to shoot at the German warships on April 9, 1940.
Drøbak is often called the seaside resort, and has many beaches; Badeparken, Parrstranda, Torkilstranda and Skiphelle, to name a few of the most famous.
In the center you will find many cute little shops with interiors and clothes, and a rich selection of cafes and restaurants.
